Electric Awnings

Our range of electric awnings are the highest quality available and are all manufactured in Germany. We offer a range of models and solutions from our partners Markilux and Erhardt to give you the desired sun protection you require in your garden or patio area.

Awnings are not designed for heavy showers and the material is water resistant, not waterproof. An electric awning is the ideal solution for protection against the sun and light showers.

The motor and all of its components are hidden and protected from the elements to avoid unwanted damage. There are 2 methods to supply power to the awning. The first method is we connect your awning to an outdoor socket or we drill a hole through the wall to connect it to an internal socket. Should you want your awning connected to a junction box, you would need to hire an electrician.

All of the aluminium awnings we install are powder coated to match any desired colour. This is great for keeping in theme with your current aesthetics. Some of the awnings available have the option to change the finish of the end caps or front styling panel. A popular finish with the end caps is chrome which really off sets the overall finish.

The quality and colour of the awning fabric is what really creates the ambience in your outside space. The patterns, nuances and textures create a unique effect by their hue and brightness. During the production of the awnings fabric absolutely nothing is left to chance. A special formula in house is added to the material for that finishing flourish. This provide the material with longevity, resistance to rain, light and fluctuations in temperature which is something you cannot escape in any outdoor setting.

The self cleaning effect that occurs during and after rainfall sees the water droplets absorb dirt particles which run off the fabric ensuring the glorious fabrics lifespan. For this to work to its maximum, the pitch of the awning must be set to at least 14 degrees.

The range of fabric choices available exceeds over 250 at any one time. New designs are added to the range every single year which also results in designs that have not performed well being removed.

The most common additional features paired with an electric sun awning are LED lights which on some models can be spot lights in the front profile or at the back of the awning where it is connected to brickwork. Some models can house an LED lighting bar which again can be at the front or back model depending. Heaters are a firm favorite amongst most customers. Heaters can be mounted just underneath the awning or alternatively a free-standing heater on the ground. One of our highest recommendations is a wind sensor which detects over vibration and retracts the awning when it starts to reach speeds which could result in damage.

Your electric awning is fully protected during the colder months within its full cassette. This prevents any damage from the elements and ensures longevity in the life span of your awning.
