<b>The Brief:</b><br> Our client required a versatile and expansive outdoor structure that could adapt to different weather conditions. The design needed to span a 12-meter width with a 4.5-meter projection, offering an open-air space during nice weather and a fully enclosed environment for year-round usability. The structure also needed to include zones for dining and relaxation, blending seamlessly with the modern style of the property.<br> <b>The Requirements:</b><br> The project specifications included the ability to span 12 meters in width with minimal posts to maintain an open and seamless appearance. Full flexibility is required to create an open air space during the warmer months. <br> <b>The Solution:</b><br> To meet the client’s requirements, we installed a double Louvre Pod in Anthracite Grey, offering a perfect combination of style, functionality, and adaptability. <br> The double Louvre Pod allowed us to span the full 12 meter width and 4.5 meter projection on as few posts as possible to create a clean and seamless space. The double structure allows the client to differenciate between the dining zone and the living area as requested. <br> To create year-round comfort, the Louvre Pod offers the option to open the louvred roof, allowing the sun to shine in, but rain and snow kept out when necessary. We incorporated glass sliding doors on all sides not attached to the property. This allows the space to be open air when required. <br> In order to create a fully versatile space, starry lighting was integrated into the louvered blades, creating a unique and luxurious ambiance,with perimeter lighting to enhance the functionality and allow the client to customise the atmosphere for any occasion. Finally, for year round use, heaters have been installed to create instant heat in the multi-functional space.
