Pergola Classic is an electric aluminium louvre pergola. Press the remote and the roof opens to the sun. Press it again and the louvres close against the rain. Water runs into the integrated gutters, down through the posts and away at the base.
The frame is powder coated aluminium, with 135 x 135 mm posts and 162 x 162 mm base plates. It is designed in Germany, made in the EU and built to order. Open Space Concepts installs it.
Choose one of nine sizes, from 3 x 4 m to 4 x 6 m, including 3.5 m widths. Standard height is 2,350 mm to the underside of the beam, or choose a custom height from 2,100 to 2,800 mm. It can be freestanding or fixed to the wall.
Finishes are anthracite (RAL 7016), white (RAL 9010), or an anthracite frame with white blades. Optional extras are perimeter LED lighting, manual or solar side screens, and a 3 kW heater.
Preset sizes
A lean-to fixes to the wall, so the back posts are not needed. Lengths up to 5 m have a post at each corner. A 6 m length has an extra post midway along each open side.

Additional Features
Pergola Classic can be fitted with warm white perimeter lighting. It is optional, and it is planned with the pergola so the wiring is ready before installation.
Warm white perimeter lighting
Perimeter lighting is an optional warm white LED strip around the frame. The light is 3000K, a soft white for evenings under the pergola.
It runs at a fixed brightness from the same supply as the motor, through a converter. Pergola Classic does not include app control or dimming for this light.
Choose From Our Amazing Selection of Sliding Doors
Glass sliding doors and side screens can be added to Pergola Classic. They close an open side when you want shelter, and they open again when you want the garden.

Frameless glass sliding doors
Frameless glass sliding doors are an optional way to close the sides of Pergola Classic. Shut, they shelter the side from wind and rain. Open, the pergola is open to the garden.
The door frames are powder coated to match the pergola, in anthracite, white, or the two tone finish.
We will talk through which sides to glaze when we prepare your quote.
Manual or solar side screens
Side screens are optional on Pergola Classic. Choose a manual screen or a solar screen, and choose the side, the size and the colour.
They give shade and privacy along an open side. On a bright day they take the glare off the seating area, and they retract when you want the view.

Yes, when the louvres are fully closed. Rain runs into the integrated gutters and down through the posts, so the area underneath stays dry.
What sizes are available?

Do I need planning permission?
Rules vary by local authority and by the size of the structure. Check with your local planning office before installation. We can talk it through when we prepare your quote.
