What factors will impact the cost of my pergola?

Roof type

When it comes to designing your contemporary pergola, you have full control over the style of the roof. There are 3 different types of roofs to choose from:

Glass roof: Our most affordable pergola roof option. Glass roofs offer shelter from the elements but cannot be retracted, making them less versatile than our retractable or louvred roof options.
Retractable roof: Our retractable pergolas give you more control over your outdoor space. On sunny days, the roof can be retracted to let the sunshine in. On rainy days, or when the sun is too intense and shade is needed, use the remote control to fully seal the roof and create a watertight, UV-resistant barrier.
Louvred roof: Our louvred pergolas are the most sophisticated of all, offering the ultimate protection in both sunny and rainy conditions. The roof features rotating aluminium blades that can be adjusted to let in just the right amount of sun or shade and closed to form a watertight barrier when it rains.

Walls and sliding glass doors

Standard pergolas are completely open at the sides, supported only by aluminium beams. However, if you prefer, your metal pergola can be partially or fully enclosed with glass or even louvred walls. This will ensure complete protection from the elements and give you more control over the internal temperature of the structure.

Sophisticated sliding glass doors can also be added for easy access to your garden, keeping you sheltered without blocking your view.

Integrated lighting and heating

Our aluminium pergolas come with the option to include integrated LED lighting or infrared heating, ensuring your outdoor space is comfortable to use even on dark, chilly evenings.

Choose from LED perimeter lighting to set the right ambience with different colour settings, or opt for LED spotlights that allow you to relax under a starry sky even on cloudy nights.
